my story

After the Navy discharged me, everything I thought I was fell apart. The structure, the identity, the future I thought I had — gone. Then the divorce. Then the scramble for a place to land, a way to keep moving when the ground kept shifting under my feet. I was carrying more shame, confusion, and quiet fear than I knew how to name.
Some days the only thing that kept me from disappearing into the noise in my head was a blank page and a pen.
I started writing the things I needed to hear. Simple statements. Grounding questions. Tiny practices that pulled me back when my thoughts spiraled. I made my own affirmation cards because the ones online felt too polished, too distant from the kind of pain I was in. I built small CBT-style worksheets because I needed something that actually worked in the middle of a hard night, not just sounded good in theory. I created a wellness journal that didn’t demand perfection — just honesty and a little consistency.
Those pages became a lifeline.
Slowly, the fog lifted enough for me to see that the tools I was making for myself might help someone else who was also trying to rebuild. Someone who had lost a version of themselves. Someone who was starting over with less than they expected and more weight than they planned for. Someone who needed practical, gentle structure instead of empty positivity.
That’s how Clarity Printables was born.
Not as a brand. Not as a side hustle. As a set of tools that came out of real struggle — the kind that doesn’t look neat from the outside.
The affirmation cards are the words I needed when my mind was loudest.
The CBT bundle is the framework that helped me interrupt the worst loops.
The wellness journal is the quiet daily practice that kept me tethered when everything else felt unstable.
If you’re in a season where things feel heavy, uncertain, or like you’re starting from scratch, these aren’t just printables. They’re the same tools that helped me keep going when I didn’t know how.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
You just have to begin.
I’m still rebuilding too.
These pages are part of how I did it — and how I hope you can too.
